Contact us and how to get here

Phone, WhatsApp, email or the form below. The first assessment is free, and it is the best way to find out whether we can help.

You can reach PSICAB by phone or WhatsApp on +34 653 89 84 90, by email at info@psicab.com, or using the form at the bottom of this page. We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 to 20:00, and you are welcome to write in English or Spanish. Sessions can also be delivered in English.

The centre is at Hípica El Molino, Carretera Fuencarral - El Pardo (M-612), km 3.4, 28049 Madrid, with parking on site. It is a 10 to 25 minute drive from most of northern Madrid. The first assessment is free and commits you to nothing.

Three ways to reach us

Use whichever suits you. They all reach the same place, and they are answered by the team at the centre, not by an answering machine.

  • Phone: +34 653 89 84 90. Quickest if you would rather talk it through.
  • WhatsApp: the same number. Useful if you are writing outside opening hours.
  • Email: info@psicab.com, or the form at the bottom of this page.

We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 to 20:00 (closed Sunday and Monday). Within those hours we reply the same day. If you write at night, on a Sunday or on a Monday, we will come back to you as soon as we open.

You are welcome to write in English or in Spanish.

What happens after you write

Taking the first step is the hard part, so here is exactly what will happen. There are no hidden commitments.

  1. We call you on the number you leave, to understand the situation and answer your questions.
  2. We find a slot for the assessment. It is free and takes a little longer than a normal session.
  3. You come to the centre. We see how the person responds to the horse and the environment, at their own pace.
  4. We tell you what we think, honestly, even if the answer is that equine therapy is not what you need right now.

There is no registration fee and nothing to decide on the day.

If your sat-nav does not recognise the address, enter the coordinates 40.5122902, -3.7359019 directly: this is open countryside and some systems get lost with road kilometre markers.

Getting here by car

The reference is the M-612, the road linking Fuencarral with El Pardo. From the A-1 or the M-40, come through Fuencarral and continue along the M-612 to km 3.4. The turning into the stables is easy to miss, so it is worth having the map open.

If your area is not on the list, tell us where you are coming from when you call and we will give you a realistic idea of the journey.

Being honest about public transport: this is a rural setting and it is far better reached by car. Almost every family drives. If transport is a problem for you, tell us when you call and we will look at the options.

What to tell us, and what you do not need to

You do not need to give clinical details in a first message. Telling us in general terms what you are looking for —who it is for, their age and what you would like to work on— is enough for us to call you back and point you in the right direction.

The rest is discussed at the assessment, which is the right place for it: in person, with time and with the confidentiality it deserves. If you would rather not put anything sensitive in writing, just call us.

Sessions are available in English. Just tell us when you get in touch and we will arrange it.

Frequently asked questions

Before you write

Can I write to you in English, and can sessions be in English?

Yes to both. Write in English or in Spanish, whichever you prefer, by email, WhatsApp or through the form on this page. Sessions can also be delivered in English: tell us when you get in touch and we will arrange it.

How quickly do you reply?

Within opening hours (Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 to 20:00) we reply the same day. If you write at night, on a Sunday or on a Monday, we come back to you as soon as we open.

Does the first assessment cost anything?

No. The first assessment is free and commits you to nothing. It exists so we can see the case, watch how the person responds to the horse, and tell you honestly whether equine therapy fits.

Do I need a diagnosis or a report to book?

No. Nothing is needed to book the first assessment. If you have previous reports and want to bring them, they help us set goals more precisely, but they are not a requirement.

Can I get there by public transport?

It is difficult. The centre is in open countryside in El Pardo and is far better reached by car, with parking on site. Almost every family drives. If transport is a problem, tell us when you call and we will look at the options.
